  Wow! If I could give 0 stars I would. Shockingly poor service from Aran services. I chose to ignore the recent poor reviews on google based on some of the earlier 5 star reviews. What a mistake that was. Clearly this company has taken a nose dive over the last few years. I was booked in for cavity wall insulation this morning. I was put in touch with them by my local council as the recognised installer for the area. At 12:30 when they hadn't arrived, I called the office to ask where they were. They told me, after I had to prompt them for a reason, that the installation team assigned to my job had left last week and they had 'forgotten' to let me know. I had taken a very valuable day off work to deal with this, which of course I won't be recompensed for. They then offered to send a team up from Slough which is at least 1.5 hrs drive away after they finish the job they are on. This would mean that they would have been drilling holes in the walls of my house in the dark on a Friday afternoon. They seemed to be suprised when I voiced my concerns about this!? Anyway, I left them to call me back offering another solution. As I suspected I didn't get a call back from them. I will be contacting Saffron Walden Council to let them know of my bad experience and also CIGA (far what it's worth). This is now the second company I have contacted to install insulation at my property. Aran Energy Services have only made the already poor shady reputation that cavity wall installers have even worse. Well done Aran Services!
